Korea’s medical technology has grown rapidly since 2006, with the number of foreign patients growing at an average annual rate of 44%. Especially, in the field of cancer treatment technology and plastic surgery, it has advanced technology. Also has international competitiveness in terms of medical prices. The operating cost is 1/10 of the US, 1/5 of Japan, and 1/2 of Singapore.
In recent years, the increase of Korean star style cosmetic surgery, bio-industry power, Northeast Asia hub and concentration of excellent talent in the apparel sector have been added to competitiveness. The government is also continuing to invest in advanced multiple medical complexes, R&D, and medical hubs that linked with recuperation.
